DVVJ – De Vackra Vyernas Järnväg

Or “The Railway of Beautiful Views” as it is also rightly called.

The railway, which is 96 km long, stretches from Mellerud in the south, through the beautiful and varying nature of Dalsland and Värmland to Årjäng in the north. Large sections of the railway run along the edges of Dalsland’s canal and other scenic waterways.

With a junction in Bengsfors, we conduct train traffic southwards to Mellerud and draisine traffic northwards to Årjäng.
